Authorized Vaccines

There are three vaccines currently authorized and recommended for use in the United States to prevent COVID-19. Alameda County supports vaccine choice and vaccine safety is a top priority. If you have questions about which vaccine is right for you, we encourage you to speak with a health care provider. While the benefits of getting vaccinated far outweigh potential risks, people should become familiar how vaccines may impact them. Please see fact sheets below about each vaccine, available in multiple languages.
