The COVID-19 data that are collected and reported have changed since the end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023. The Alameda County dashboards have been updated to reflect these changes. The dashboards rely on multiple sources of data at the state and local levels, and may be corrected from time to time as additional data are received.
Case counts do not include the results of home antigen testing. This means that cases no longer show how much COVID-19 is circulating in a community. Numbers of tests and test positivity also do not reflect home antigen testing. Therefore, Alameda County will no longer share updated case and testing data on this dashboard. However, data through August 2023 will be archived and can be viewed on this page, and current Alameda County testing data can still be found on the CDPH dashboard.
Additional information by County can be found on the CDPH dashboard and on the CDC Data Tracker.
